Two is Magic in Computers and Accessories

I'm upgrading my mid 2007 iMac to 4GB of memory. The first set I received, the computer emits 3 beeps, indicating a memory problem. I did a bit of trading and found that one of the new 2GB sticks had a problem. I contacted Revain for a solution and decided to replace the item. In the meantime I used the old 1GB and the working 2GB and the system was fine. Revain promptly sent replacements and installed two new 2GB sticks upon receipt. Now the computer won't boot at all. I replaced the 2GB flash

RAM works great and allows installing SnowLeopard's ElCapitan

Packed in a clamshell which was again in bubble wrap the packaging was acceptable. If something heavy had fallen on the RAM during transportation, it would likely have been damaged. The RAM was exactly as described. This is a kit of 4GB SD RAM (2 x 2GB) 667MHz PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM (200 pins). This was installed on an iMac (Core2 Duo Intel T7300 2007-2008). RAM is installed on the iMac by loosening the screw in the center of the base panel and carefully removing the metal door. Then pull the tape

A quick and easy upgrade for a tired iMac!

I installed a 6-7 year old iMac with 1GB memory. It's been slowing down lately as it's struggled to deal with the sheer volume of graphics that the internet can offer us today. The computer was a backup machine, so it never bothered me much, and I was a bit hesitant to update it because I'm a geek and hacking an all-in-one Mac was a little intimidating. A little research (thanks YouTube!) showed me how easy it is and I found this memory upgrade on Revain and decided to give it a try. The memory

Easy Peasy 1,2,3 for computers and accessories

Great product at a great price. I bought an old mid-2007 iMac cheap off eBay so I could run some of my old hardware and apps that my new MacBook Pro couldn't. The factory installed RAM on my mid 2007 iMac was 1GB, which was the MSR (minimum system requirements). ) for the hardware and applications I use. I experienced a rather sluggish response time. So I did a little research on Apple's website to determine the compatible type of RAM upgrade and came across these beauties. I got several good…

Excellent Aries. new life for my macbook pro early 2008

This was not found on my macbook pro early 2008, my macbook was slowing down than it had 2gb ram. I'm in the process of returning the memory kit. Then I decided to reinstall OSX and upgrade to Yosemite with that 4GB of RAM, and voila! It has breathed new life into my MacBook Pro. Now in Yosemite it works faster. I believe there is something wrong with my previous Mavericks in my MacBook causing no RAM to be recognized, which a reinstall in Yosemite fixes. Thanks for the great lamb! I…

Perfect for upgrading an old iMac

Wow, absolutely amazing product. Just plug in and get started. After recently rebooting an old 2007 iMac that had been gathering dust as a kid's surfing computer, I realized that the outdated version of OS X on the iMac would soon be unsupported by internet browsers like Chrome. When I tried to upgrade to OS X El Capitan it didn't work because the iMac only had 1GB of storage. I visited Apple's support site and they have very simple replacement instructions for upgrading your memory. Make sure…

Great Kernel for Apple Macbook 2007 Update!

I bought this memory to upgrade my wife's aging 2007 Macbook that I was about to convert to Linux (because Apple thought it needed an OS or browser -Updates would no longer deserve). An easy replacement for that storage - combined with a new SSD and a Linux Mint install, the Macbook is running with speed and finesse again, and now with fully supported Firefox, OS updates, etc. Hopefully it will last a few more years. . She hasn't had a single problem running a new operating system with updated…

Never worked well for computer components

I bought these to upgrade a Macbook I gave my mother. She never got to install them, so she took them and her MacBook with her on a recent visit to Los Angeles. I tried to install it several times and the computer wouldn't start. Now, I don't consider myself a computer engineer, but I have a pretty deep knowledge of how things work, and over the years I've successfully replaced batteries and upgraded numerous RAM memory chips. It was listed as something that should have worked with their…
