I bought these to upgrade a Macbook I gave my mother. She never got to install them, so she took them and her MacBook with her on a recent visit to Los Angeles. I tried to install it several times and the computer wouldn't start. Now, I don't consider myself a computer engineer, but I have a pretty deep knowledge of how things work, and over the years I've successfully replaced batteries and upgraded numerous RAM memory chips. It was listed as something that should have worked with their Macbook model, but it didn't. Now, unfortunately, because the purchase was too far away, we eat money for them. Very disappointed
