Vacu Vin wine pump (black) has been used for decades. Every few years the black version stopped slipping and we replaced it. This white has been a problem since we bought it. We have to froth it about every 4 times or it won't slip at all no matter what brand of wine. It just freezes in the open position and won't slip. Yesterday the foil cutter that came with the kit cracked in half! I'm wondering if the whites are made of a different material than the blacks that usually worked for years? Our earlier foil cutters could wear out, but older versions never broke in half.
