ok why give him 5 statlr when i have to buy a second one? Well the first one was about 15 years old and seemed to lose suction when I pumped the pen from time to time. Maybe it was partly because the plugs I had were the same age. I figured as much as I use them I can just update them. I'm so glad I did. Corks just got better, and this new take on vacuum wine makes a faint click when the bottle is fully sucked. I used to peel a lot and hoped for the best lol. Buy this if you love wine.

Vacu Vin wine pump (black) has been used for decades. Every few years the black version stopped slipping and we replaced it. This white has been a problem since we bought it. We have to froth it about every 4 times or it won't slip at all no matter what brand of wine. It just freezes in the open position and won't slip.
