The cheap price made it hard for me to spend more than $6 on a pair of socks, but I really needed something to keep my new Red Wing boots from ruining my unholy foot stink. Between the boot dryer, the occasional foot wash with antibacterial soap, the use of deodorant antiperspirant spray on the top and bottom of my awful hobbit feet, and the use of those unexpectedly comfortable socks, the stink of my boots isn't as bad as it is could be. especially after drying. I will also add some odor absorbers for safety. But the socks themselves contain a heck of a lot of moisture but are very comfortable - like a fancy blanket for your feet. They don't seem to make me (or my feet) any hotter during the day, which was my main concern. I ended up buying another set and will probably buy a third set because a single guy with no kids just doesn't need to do his laundry that often.
