I bought this for a short term project and because I was too cheap to buy a meter that reads US gallons. The device comes with adapters to take it from any thread built into the device and convert it to standard pipe threads. The problem is that adapters are cheap and always leak. I've reassembled it three times with teflon tape, each time using more and more tape, but it's still leaking. I tried liquid teflon and then liquid teflon with teflon tape and it still leaked. After two weeks of trying to stop the leak, I finally tightened the fittings I attached to the adapters so much that they snapped. Block has connections. I took it to Lowes, Home Depot and the local hardware store and amazed everyone who tried to help. Save your money and above all your frustration and buy a higher quality device.
