Review on Men's Athletic White Walking Shoes - New Balance MW577: Enhanced for Performance by Jamal Webb

I had issues with my current shoes being too tight in the toe area, resulting in calluses on the sides of my thumbs and scratches on the sides of my pinky finger. I decided to try New Balance with a wide toe box. I received a "wide" size 11. As soon as I put it on, I noticed that my little finger was still irritated. Maybe I needed wider than wide? But to make matters worse, when I first tried the shoes on in my apartment and walked across the carpet, they constantly squeaked from both shoes. It was worse and louder on the bare floor. I can't tell where it's from. I think from both the tongue and the insoles. Sorry I wanted to like these shoes but I can't wear them in public and at work without stopping to run and make wind noise. I will return them and try other shoes.
