Men's Athletic White Walking Shoes - New Balance MW577: Enhanced for Performance Review

All my shoes were 9.5 but even after 1 week of daily wear I still have pain. Obviously the seller doesn't want you to return them once you've worn them. However, no shoe fits perfectly on the first day. I have contacted the seller and will contact Best Buy customer service if any changes are made. These are great shoes but they are a bit smaller than other NBs I've bought. Not enough for a return, but if I order again, I would order half a size larger.

My husband hasn't worn them for a long time. After putting them on the other day, they started squeaking very loudly with every step, which was very annoying. He's been wearing New Balance shoes for years and doesn't want to buy any other brand, but these aren't up to standard. This is a different model, we will not buy again. Do we have any other remedial actions?

The shoes look great. But they are too loud. The tongue rubs against the straps, making a squeaky sound with every step. This is very annoying.

I had issues with my current shoes being too tight in the toe area, resulting in calluses on the sides of my thumbs and scratches on the sides of my pinky finger. I decided to try New Balance with a wide toe box. I received a "wide" size 11. As soon as I put it on, I noticed that my little finger was still irritated. Maybe I needed wider than wide? But to make matters worse, when I first tried the shoes on in my apartment and walked across the carpet, they constantly squeaked from both shoes…

I've only had these for a week. They fit well and walk well around town. You don't want to walk on muddy surfaces when the ground is wet. The single tread pattern attracts dirt and is difficult to clean in this situation.

I have bought this for 3 out of 4 men in my family over the years. Always seems to find good deals for the price. This year was a bit more difficult due to supply chain issues, but they were found anyway. I hope they continue this style because they always suit each of the men.

New Balance is the only company that has given me the most comfortable shoes. I love that there is an X-Wide shoe with great support that is comfortable all day.

Not much bow support. I added an orthopedic arch support. That helped. The great thing about this shoe, in addition to the full leather upper, is the oversized sock in size 4E.

I like that. I've worn at least 4 pairs. Just a note - I've read that over the years you should add 1/2 size to your width as our legs are spread. I'm 68 years old, I tried them on my last pair and they had wonderful results. These are great shoes and I still use my last 4 pairs for various purposes as I save the last ones for my morning speedwalks.

I am a registered nurse who is on my feet for over 12 hours per shift. Was looking for comfortable shoes that can support my feet during this long time. These shoes are not. The insoles are thin and provide no support. The way they sewed the sides of the shoe near the toe in the name of the design also creates a hard wall that hits right on my pinky. And this is where the shoe flexes with every step and starts cutting into your feet, which actually hurts. I thought it was just an interruption…

Love the fact that New Balance offers wide and extra wide sizes, people with wide feet will definitely benefit from this shoe! Great for the daily walk and the support is great!

Bought these for my husband who is a perfectionist about what he puts on his feet! He wore New Balance products for years but was afraid to order online. Do not be afraid. They are true to size and he is a lucky man!

These shoes are not the same size as shoes I have purchased from New Balance in the past. I have reordered the next size longer and the next size wider. Hope they fit. I had to do the same for my wife.

New Balance hiking shoes have always been made in the USA (last four pairs). These are made in Vietnam. The build quality is very good, but the feel is different.

My husband likes NB and only sneakers, he buys not only white, but also black. They last quite a while and he polishes them (military stuff) to make them last longer.

The inside of these shoes is too high and cuts into my ankles. I wore them for about half an hour just to try them on. It took about a week for my knuckles to heal. I hope Best Buy will accept them for return.

I bought these to wear after hip surgery which left my legs swollen. The toe box is wide enough to give me a snug fit and to absorb the swelling that occurs throughout the day.

Less than 2 weeks after receiving the shoes, the glue had already come loose. I've been ordering New Balance shoes for years and the quality of this pair is below average. I would expect that from Wal-Mart, not New Balance.
