Works well depending on configuration
I needed this to split the fiber optic output from my TV to add a hearing aid along with an existing soundbar connection. I also have a fiber optic switch so other devices can be connected to the soundbar. The direct connection to the TV output did not work with the soundbar. Finally I moved it to the output of the switch and everything worked as it should. Splitting the lesson reduces the output, so beware of complex configurations. Also, it doesn't match the connectors as well as other Toslink cables I have.
