The scale is amazing! SUPER easy to use and clean. It's very accurate. It's ready to use as soon as you unpack it. From sleep mode you can put your dish on the plate and when you turn it on it's already zeroed, take that dish when you're done measuring, put in a new one and select pause and you're ready, one to start a new measurement. My husband even dropped a heavy baking sheet on it and it was fine.
