I ordered the collar with the metal plate just for my dog to have Identification. Its not used to put a leash on, my dog uses a harness. I'm advising because dogs that pull might pull on the leash and the leash might stretch out the leather and the name plate. So if your dog is a puller you might want to consider that. My dog is 85lbs with a 18 in. neck and is a puller, so a 2 inch collar would be more ideal. However like i said, this collar is for show and for identification. It fits perfectly, the craftmanship is well made. the ID plate is also well made and well placed. The stitching is well done. MY ONLY COMPLAINT. was the wait time. maybe because of alot of orders but i was just used to ordering other products and getting it in a few days. but if you can wait the product is well made and fits comfortably on the dog.
