I used it in our garden with thick grass and a slight incline. The grass is too thick and uneven for a decent shot. It's worked well so far, but because it's so light it won't lay flat unless the surface underneath is also perfectly flat. Even a slight incline or a small clump of uneven grass will make the surface uneven and the ball won't land on it. I've hit it 40-50 times, mostly at slow speeds. I can see some grass material coming out from under the surface but otherwise no real damage. However, I'm not sure if it will last long.
