later The description says this filter fits my 2019 Cooper S. My car is an F56 model with a B46 engine. It's a 2.0 liter I4. The filter is too large and is preventing the air filter housing from closing completely. The air box uses four screws to lock the cover. The orange rubber band on the filter protrudes and prevents the screws from properly securing the air filter housing cover. I put the factory air filter back in and closed the lid completely. I tightened the bolts and the cover shut tight, forming a seal around the air filter housing. I am returning this filter as I could not use it. Comparing this filter to a BMW factory air filter shows how you get what you pay for. The BMW air filter has an additional foam pad underneath the air filter. The filter I bought from this seller has a single piece of foam pad fitted under the air filter which seems flimsy compared to BMW's factory filter. For as little as $20 you can get a K&N filter and filters from major manufacturers. The factory filter from BMW is expensive, but seems worth it. Buying cheap parts will cost you more in the long run.
