3rd Hardware Part to Replace Bad Battery

Replace my old battery as it was swollen and would not hold a charge. After putting all pieces back together, the Ninja battery worked fine, but the keyboard and track pad were inoperative. Disappointing. Reading the web, decided to replace the trackpad ribbon cable which runs over the battery (bad design). Then replaced the track pad ribbon cable, but no joy. The keyboard and track pad were still inoperative. Very disappointing. Then read web again and found that trackpad might need to be replaced. Ordered that and installed. Praise the Lord it worked! So very happy that after three hardware updates, my MacBook 13 inch (early 2015) works great and battery is now brand new and works wonderful. Hope this helps someone else down the road.

Overall it''s a very easy swap. But becareful on the keyboard and trackpad ribbon cable. Some of the keys were not functional after my battery swap, but after one night, all keys are working again
