I like self-healing film more than tempered glass, that's my personal preference. While it may not offer the same protection as tempered glass against large drops hitting the screen directly, it does offer adequate protection for smaller drops and the film will heal itself, unlike tempered glass protection which cracks and you'll have to get one New. . . The film is easy to apply and adheres well to the screen, but you need a hair dryer to enhance the edges of the screen and the screen slides easily with your finger. It's worth noting that fingerprints/smudges will remain on it, but they can easily be removed with water and a cloth. I would recommend this if you don't like the harshness of the outline and the feel of tempered glass.
