Disappointing - road running

I like the look of these shoes but after 2.5 weeks of ownership both shoes should have a hole in the sole and the grip goes flat very quickly. . I don't run - just run, and not even every day in these shoes, so it's a bit quick to wear out like that. I will still only buy New Balance, but they just aren't enough for me.
