I am very happy with this purchase. I wanted to add a low level to my system. This added enough power to help me pick up some of the lower frequencies. It doesn't have deep lows, but that helped a lot. The audio crossovers in my Pioneer deck really made the soundstage work. Without tone controls on the decks and crossovers for all speakers, I could never have mixed the scene. The deck even made it possible to compensate for the speaker's sound depending on the distance to each speaker. The small bandpass filter can be adjusted to deliver an amazing amount of bass if you like. It's easy to install, all in one package that will surprise you with its minimal footprint and only 7.5 amps. It's smaller than a stereo or even fog lights. UPDATE: This subwoofer is broken. It's getting louder! I've now set it to -6 on my stereo so the bass doesn't drown out my mids and highs! I hear my stereo at 5, it goes to 40. Even at 5 and subwoofer volume at -6, my mirror still vibrates. 😳 A great buy if you're just adding some bass or trying to fill the soundstage.
