I have a 30 year old plastic delta kite that still flies great and gets airborne with ease. that's the closest I can get. I doubt this one will last 30 years, but even if it only lasts a few years, it's worth it. When folded it is very compact, fits in a drawstring backpack. I have 4 of these kites and 3 reels in a drawstring backpack that you can take anywhere (get a reel to spool up if you want a more comfortable experience). They hold up better than any other kite (except a 30 year old kite). I bought about 10 kites at a time with these 4, the rest are rainbow kites with a thick center tail and two small side tails - do NOT buy ANY of these they need perfect wind to stay on top. Pay a few bucks more and get a kite you are happy with, there are better kites out there. but it's a good combination of price and features.
