This is my second Coredy vacuum robot. The first was a typical model that ran well and great, but I just couldn't resist the lure of an even smarter machine. This guy is great! He planned the rooms very well and was able to complete the cleaning about twice as fast because he knew where he was going and where he was already so efficiently. It even detects doors and thresholds automatically, so it knows where on the map rooms should be separated, and you can always assign it areas to avoid or clear a specific area. The floor it cleans is half carpet and half linoleum; It cleans well and does a great job in tight spaces between sofas and tables. It seems to handle floor mats better than the hit-and-go model; they don't move. The auto cleaning feature was very handy; Instead of emptying it daily, it assembles a trash can-sized charging station that you can empty from time to time. Everything was nice and quiet. I just make him work at 2am so I wake up to mop the floors. It didn't bother my wife, kids or our dog. They come with enough accessories (filters, brushes, mopping pads) for your first 6-12 months or more, which is nice, and I love the little built-in brush cleaner holder. Very well thought out. I haven't had a chance to try the mopping function yet, but if it works as well as vacuuming, I'll be thrilled.
