I got this for a pendant light in my kitchen that uses a Hue bulb. I wanted a switch that visitors could use to control that light. My other light switches are either zigbee/z-wave or wifi, but I didn't need that for this switch since the bulb was already smart. This control was a great solution. My light switches are the paddle type, and even though there is an adaptor included, the included instructions were only for regular switches. I had to Google an answer and sort of figure my way through it, but it wasn't that difficult, and the end result is worth it. This switch gives a physical method to control the light as well as dim them without messing up the app.
