This unit is easy to set up and operate with one button recording. The only complaint I have about it is that you can't seem to change the speed at which the VCR tape records. I'm still looking for it, so there might be a way, but I haven't found it yet. I would recommend this to anyone who still has videotapes they want to watch or if you're recording from a TV so you can fast forward to all those damn commercials they're showing on the show now. UPDATE: I finally figured out how to change the recording speed on the VCR part. Use the REC MODE button. The book only has instructions on how to use this button with a DVD, but it works for the VCR part too! :) Recording TV shows to DVD is just AMAZING. Speaking of improved quality, you can get up to 6 hours on DVD! I only recorded 4 hours. The quality is still better than VCR tapes. I upgraded this product to 5 stars! I don't think you will regret when you get it! UPDATE again. We've owned this car for 30 days and the DVD portion rattles like a ship at sea. So it didn't even take 30 days. -days and it seems I can't replace it. I have contacted Revain and they will give me a FULL refund! I lowered my rating to 1 star. Zero is more appropriate! I wish this would work.
