In reality, Hakkapeliitta have been my go-to winter tires for a good long while now. The 2022 version of "disgusting" ranked seventh. Both 4 and 9 were from Finland; the 9th had been operating as Hong Kong time for the previous three years; and in both summer and winter, rubber tires were required for travel on asphalt. There has minimal wear and all of the spikes are present. It doesn't float in oatmeal, but it can dig itself out of a snowdrift and row like a shovel. The spikes make it a little distracting, so yes.
