It's actually a fairly large object that has some weight when you're swinging or holding it. It is wide enough from top to neck to accommodate letters from the sorority/fraternity. The case is just the right size in length and width for your design and is easy to paint. If you are looking for a paddle to give to your pawnmaster or pawnlady; DO NOT buy it as it may be too short to match all the names in your class. Normally master/mistress rudders are about twice as long or even three times as long. PRO: The perfect paddle for your big one, enough neck room for big Greek letters, enough body room to fit everything (remember to be sensible with borders), and easy to draw. (Especially when it comes to spray painting) CONS: No, unless you're looking for a really fancy paddle, don't buy this and get a longer one.
