This product has completely removed cat spray from my front door. We have a house cat and there are several street cats in the neighborhood. We had problems spraying street cats. I've tried other products but had trouble finding one that works better on hard surfaces. It looks like most of them are for carpets or interiors. It didn't harden or discolor the paint on the house, but I did notice that the paint on the footboard had worn off a bit. This could also be due to frequent contact with cat urine! So I won't blame the product. I've used it around the litter box area - it worked great. I also checked the stain on the carpet and it turned out to be fine too. I would definitely buy this again.
