Looked for a phone holder for my new mini that looked like factory, This is it. Its made from a light weight metal and fits in nice behind gauges. Took me about 10 minutes. I have the S8+ in a otterbox commuter case. So when I used the magnetic mount the phone will try and move to landscape as the round magnet won't quite hold tight. Have a different phone holder with a square magnet it works fine. The clip type holder is great, very easy to install and remove phone. No twisting or slipping, and, i can use my phone to video the road in front as the clip will hold low enough. Overall this is a first class mount that looks great and works better than most of the others I have tried. Most of all it does not markup the dash or window.
