This is a great product for a very large dog, but the elastic straps are extremely poor at securing the back to the dog's hindquarters. Our pet has only worn this product a couple of times this week and both elastics have failed. One of them "stretched" in the middle, and the other broke out of the seam. A clever improvement would be to increase the width of the elastic from 1/4" to about 3/4" wide and secure it in the seam area with a thicker thread that folds over itself and also at the seam of the coat Reinforce the elastic bands better. This is definitely what the product engineers should have done given the cost of this product. Regards, -JB
