🐾 Stay Cozy: Dog Winter Coat with Smart Heat-Reflective Insulation for Ultimate Warmth in Cold Weather Review

We do a lot of winter hiking and I have tried on several coats for my dog and she shivered in each one until we found this coat. It keeps her warm, has a nice collar, covers the full length of her body and fastens at the back to keep it from coming loose while hiking. It's not plump at all, very smooth and doesn't seem to bother her at all when I put it on her. Definitely recommended for all outdoor activities in winter.

My dog loves it! Now she doesn't have to freeze or try to scratch her back while rolling on the mulch in a fleece sweater! Good quality, the leg loops usually give her a hard time, but I'll leave that out because of the rest of the high-quality equipment. Update - the strap around the back broke. The stitching holding it up doesn't work either. I lowered my rating by 1 star due to internal changes required in the first few weeks of use.

I really liked this coat. Very nice, all covered, really waterproof and light. The only thing my pup didn't like was the elastic straps that have to go around his back legs to keep him in place. He couldn't focus on going outside without trying to smother the gangs. I tried doing it without bandages but the back kept slipping a little (not much) and he was still distracted by it. I think if I had worked without stripes from the beginning he would have been better with it.

I was looking for a jacket to quickly dress my older small dog before sending him to the potty in the early Boston winter (30-40 degrees). This jacket is quick to put on and just as easy to take off. My pup has a very short coat so I don't let him spend more than 15-20 minutes outside with that alone, but it's great for a short business trip outside. (I haven't tinkered with the leg loops—she's never been a big fan of other jackets and sweaters—but you really don't need them for a quick trip.)…

This is a good jacket that seems to keep our dog warm well. I like that the fabric doesn't pick up burrs. I like that it covers our dogs chest. I like the ability to access the seat belts. The only thing I don't like is that the straps that are supposed to go around the back legs are too tight. The dog doesn't even move when I put them on. I wish they were adjustable. This is a great product for a very large dog, but the elastic straps are extremely poor at securing the back to the dog's hindquarters. Our pet has only worn this product a couple of times this week and both elastics have failed. One of them "stretched" in the middle, and the other broke out of the seam. A clever improvement would be to increase the width of the elastic from 1/4" to about 3/4" wide and secure it in the seam area with a thicker thread that folds over itself and also at the seam…
