So I have something to say about that. The first and most important thing to remember is that they are for gamers and not for people who want to listen to music. That being said, I've had a lot of experience playing with them and the overall sound was pretty good. The cable and solid build quality also really stood out. There are more good things than bad, so let's go through the short list. FOR 1. Great for noise canceling headphones - I don't hear any extraneous noise at all when gaming, it's awesome and as it should be. 2. Soft padding and durable construction - feels like they will last, not fragile at all.3. Rich, deep bass sound that suits my favorite horror and shooter games.4. Excellent cable and sound control box. It has a durable braided cable that doesn't tangle, and the sound controller works better than my old Logitech headset. Supplied with cable adapter. It can either be connected to the controller with a TRRS cable, or you can use an adapter to split the signal and have a separate TRS.6 microphone and headphone jack. The light looks great CONS: 1. Poor handling of mids and highs when listening to music2. puts pressure on your ears - if you have big ears you may run into some comfort issues, if it puts a little pressure on your ears, a thicker pad would probably fix this. Inflexible microphone - the microphone can be raised and lowered, but no more. The frame for this is plastic so you can't bend it and it kind of gets stuck in your peripheral vision. Final Thoughts: Who Needs It? Gamers are people who play games. They're not for music lovers who want to listen to music with them, they're for gamers who want to hear every sound their game has to offer. I'm a gamer and it was very nice.
