Ideal for Bose OE2 headphones. The gold-plated connectors have greatly changed the sound quality; no more hissing and muting. The connectors fit perfectly and the cable itself is of good quality and should be strong enough for such a small cable. You'd think that Bose, a company with an excellent reputation, would have supplied this type of cable from the start. Update August 2021: Still working great! I use these headphones with my tablet and TV remote almost every day. The coating begins to wear off without affecting the sound quality. But considering how many hundreds of times they've been plugged in, I'm still happy with the performance.
