Review on Salomon Evening Primrose Men's Athletic Water Shoes for Hiking by Len Chandler
Very stiff seam at the ankle, otherwise great
There is a very rough seam on the heel, right where the ankle sticks out. The problem isn't the seam placement (all my other Salomon Gore-Tex shoes have the same seam) but the stiffness or flatness of the seam. Pain and blistering appear immediately. I tried hacking them but that didn't make the problem any easier. Otherwise great quality and design like many other XA Salomon shoes I've had.
Pros
- The only criticism of good shoes is the lace buckle at the top of the tongue which allows the foot to slip a bit.
Cons
- Not suitable for all areas
