I use it to carry groceries home. The design is great - the bag is very strong and the overall frame is light. Climbing the stairs is pretty easy. It keeps everything in place, including large jugs of water or juice. One problem you might run into is if you have stairs that are made of planks/plates instead of blocks. That is, stairs where each step has a gap and not a solid one. You can still use this cart, but it has nothing to hold onto as it goes up the steps, and it'll be pretty stiff on wheels (not to mention more difficult to pull up). I think big wheels with traction would solve this problem.
