Works as expected but make a note of

Wanted to automatically light my garage. The light continued to be turned on by others. An IR motion sensor has been used for this purpose for years, but in the Texas heat, with the added heat of cars parked in a garage, IR motion sensors become much less sensitive and unreliable. So I was excited to learn about the motion detection technology with radar. I tried it in a different, much more expensive light, but it failed to auto-off as advertised. I found out later that he was reading movement through the walls in neighboring rooms, so I had a good understanding of how it was before. But when I found this lightbulb, which by the way is the only lightbulb with radar motion detection technology, I realized that you can ALSO customize ALL the settings, including radar motion detection area, ambient light sensitivity, and time duration, and I realized I had finally found the one Solution and yes, for the most part it works as expected. I had to spend about 45 minutes adjusting the radar's motion sensitivity for my particular situation. I've made sure it doesn't read movement through the walls next to my garage attached to my house. At first the default range was all on, but I reduced it and now the light stays off regardless of activity in neighboring rooms. Adjusting the sensitivity of radar motion detection should be mandatory for all lights using this technology. I can't imagine the number of disappointed customers when the radar's motion detection function is too sensitive and doesn't have the ability to adjust it. I'm also not sure what other electronics manufacturers/developers think about deleting this feature, even in the first few generations. Outdoor lamps with a motion sensor had the ability to adjust sensitivity based on movement. This radar-based motion detection technology is new to the consumer electronics market and I'm very surprised that even many reviewers of similar competing products don't seem to be asking for this feature. Regardless, this company did the right thing by finding a way to bring this feature to market at an affordable price. -UpdateAfter using it for a few weeks, unfortunately I'm sending it back. I have NOT lost faith in this product, it just doesn't work well enough for my situation/environment. The light detects movement when my wife and I drive into the garage, but NOT our young children who are still afraid of the dark. It is possible that our minivan is blocking the radar motion sensor's ability to detect movement at lower altitudes, even when the light is in the center of the minivan. I've also noticed that when my wife and I enter the garage, the light consistently doesn't come on, not sure what's going on there. At first I thought it was the ambient light sensor turning off the bulb when the garage door opened and flooding the garage with light from inside the house, but I set the light sensor to turn on even in bright light conditions. and still had the same problem. So let's go back to what was before until I find a solid solution again.
