The fitting on the drain hose was not machined correctly. You can simply insert it into the pump (see video). I've tried cutting the end off and using a barb fitting, but being steel reinforced hose it can't stretch to fit around the barb fitting. I ended up using tape and wire to get it working a bit. I spilled a lot of gas, but I got the job done. Very disappointing as the pump worked perfectly and everything else seems to be of good quality except for the super cheap clamps. I can recommend a pump, but get a pump without tubing and get your own tubing. I am sending it back for a refund. Here's my response to the seller's comment: No amount of Teflon tape (which, by the way, is not recommended for oil connections) would solve this problem, and it would be very dangerous to try to get such a bad connection to work. It can break easily, especially when you connect this fuel tank. As you can see in the video, the problem is clearly with the hose connection. The pump threads are fine as the barb fittings thread properly.
