Review on ๐Ÿ”จ We R Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile Power Punch: Heavy Duty 1/4 inch Standard Hole Punch with 2 inch Reach by Michelle Langley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It wasn't what I had hoped for.

I ordered this power punch because it was advertised as a cutting material. It is not as you can see in the first photo. As you can see in the second photo the punched part has 2 metal protrusions and this does not allow you to make a clean hole in the fabric, at least not the fabric I had. Tried to punch through 4 layers of fabric and cardboard as a base. I have never had a clean hole in the material (although I have had a clean hole in the cardboard). Before sending it back I thought I would try it on other items. The first was a small notebook (3rd photo) with thick cardboard and a fairly large number of sheets. As you can see, a neat hole turned out. (If you poke a hole in the cardstock side, the paper won't wrinkle.) Second, I tried the back cover of another small notebook. It was thick hardboard. Another decent hole. I also easily cut through a plastic credit card. The last thing I cut out was the mailer the punch came in - again I had Chads hanging. This punch is therefore ideal for thick, hard objects. Not so good on thinner, more flexible items. Another plus is that even thicker items are easy to handle. As some others have said, it cuts through them like butter. So I'm keeping it and recommending it to anyone who wants to cut thick items rather than thin stuff.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Thin
