Didn't get 5 stars because it would be nice to be able to control backlight intensity, mainly for burnt slides. However, you can work around this by changing the position of the slider. However, this thing is a no-brainer. I have over 800 slides and it's a quick and easy assembly line. The built-in memory card lets you quickly save those 4 to 6 megabyte images, then simply connect the card or USB cable to your desktop or laptop computer for transfer and editing. Kodachrome slides show their best at such a low cost compared to having a production recreate them for you. Damn happy.
