Let's leave the obvious aside. Image quality, viewing angles, black level - everything is great. This is a thoroughly 5 star TV when it comes to picture quality, especially when it's feeding a 4K 60Hz signal. But I just paid about $2,000 for a TV that pushes ads on me. If I turn off one type of "recommended" programming in settings, another one appears. This is an advertisement "Hit the mol". The last thing I got today was a "Bravia Notice", picture attached. I object to the current practice of placing ads on all Smart TVs. Sony+Google have crossed a line, and I refuse to believe that it's okay to just sit around and consume marketing materials while doing simple, everyday tasks. Absolute disgust for Sony. I recommend this TV not only for these reasons. To be honest I don't know what to do as TCL, Samsung and LG have the same intrusive ads or worse. That doesn't mean Sony can stoop to that level. I've had a 27" XBR curved CRT, a 32" flat XBR, a 2007 40" XBR LED, a 2013 55" Bravia LED and now this TV. Sony as a brand is now dead to me as it has clearly become a Google slut.
