Recently flew cross country on a business trip and tried to use them on an airplane while working on a computer. The light situation was not optimal, but I still got distortions in the lens. After cleaning several times, I found that the glasses were not dirty. That's how it always looked, given the circumstances. It was so annoying that I couldn't ignore the distortion as it seemed like I was looking through dirty glasses. I suspect it was the lighting conditions but I had to upgrade to an older pair of cheaters as I couldn't take the poor eyesight. My head is a bit wide and they tend to press on your head if you are a bit wider and more sensitive. They are actually very attractive and go well with a business suit. Airplane use aside, they met my expectations for performance and visual acuity based on what I paid for them. Unless you're going to use them on an airplane, they're worth the small dollar amount they're sold for.
