Review on ๐Ÿš— Bluetooth 5.0 Car Stereo Transmitter with USB & AUX for Hands-Free Calling in Honda Accord Civic Odyssey Pilot Acura by David Perry

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works pretty well. See Audio & Video Accessories

I have a 2007 Accord and previously had a similar optional adapter. I had some pretty serious grounding issues and couldn't get rid of the hum. I was hoping that switching to a Bluetooth device would resolve the issue on its own. This adapter works great. Didn't try connecting via Aux to see if the noise comes back, but Bluetooth sounds great. Several times he hung around and stopped communicating, but in a few weeks this did not happen. Unfortunately, the only way to fix this problem is to turn the device off and on again. The included documentation is not very good and doesn't provide much useful information. Most cars with built-in BT will play music automatically when connected to a phone. While that can be annoying, it's welcome here because it's not. It would be nice not to have to take my phone out of my pocket every time I get in the car. Also, you must be using a phone as none of the radio buttons work as a play/pause button. (Also there is no play/pause button on the radio). In this case, the steering works like the lane change control. You just can't pause. Some reviews also said it would show track data on the screen, but it doesn't. Maybe it's because it works for several different cars and this one just doesn't show that information. I haven't tested the hands-free function yet because I need a microphone adapter. The kit includes a mic, but my car had a mic installed previously which is already pointing to the right spot. The problem is that the microphone has a 2.5mm jack and this one has a 3.5mm jack. Eventually I will try to get one to test this function. All in all, this is a pretty solid device.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
