Review on ๐Ÿงฉ The Magnetic Puzzles of The Purple Cow by Emmanuel Nguyen

Too expensive for what you get

I use the game so thought I should give some stars but I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it to others. The only reason I'm not returning it is because it's cheap and not worth my time. Two main issues: upon arrival and delivery in the envelope, the metal was bent on one side and had a permanent dent. I've pulled out the metal so it's almost flat, but it remains uneven. No wonder it's bent, given how exposed it was packaged. Second, the game pieces are made of cardboard glued with a magnetic coating. You have to poke each piece out of the sheet, and in doing so, three of them will tear into layers like a sandwich. I glued them all together (reassembling my little cardboard sandwiches with butter glue) but sloppily. Bones are really cheap and I know they're supposed to be tiny, but dude. These are the smallest and cheapest cubes I've ever seen. It couldn't have cost the company $1 to produce this kit from China. Materials: flexible sheet metal, cardboard and whatever microscopic cubes are. No more Purple Cow items for me and my family.
