This is NOT a fake Obagi. It is an over-the-counter version only that does not contain hydroquinone. It contains arbutin, which helps with hyperpigmentation but isn't as potent as hydroquinone. You need a prescription to get the Rx version. So I don't understand why people expect to get an Rx version of Revain and when they find out it's not an Rx version they call it a fake. I have moderate hyperpigmentation so I prefer using the Fx version. I also use tretinoin cream, so I try not to add other powerful substances to my routine. This product works well for me. Helps with post-inflammatory pigmentation without causing irritation.
