Review on 🔬 Enhance Your Microbiology Study with Microscope Slides: Expertly Prepared Specimens by Ryan Gilliam

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The slides themselves are fine, a little tweaking helps

We're just a scientific and microscope family, so this review is about hobby mode, not study or pro mode. As such, this is a good set for kids or adults interested in the bigger (or smaller) world. As the review title notes, we're very happy with the slides and only recommend a few small touches for ease of use. Kids may have a harder time, which can be good or bad depending on how comfortable you are with opening a box of flimsy glass items. The slides are individually labeled with a number and title ("104 willow stalks”, "108 lichens”). And on the left side of the suitcase is a full list of slides in two easy-to-read columns. Some sense of organization can be helpful here, such as B. color-coding small groups for easier placement or identification, organizing plants and animals individually, etc. All of this is not required at all, it would just be a little easier. This is a fairly wide range of items including seeds and stems, roots and leaves (cotton, sunflower, radish, etc.) house fly mouth, etc. Items were crisp and well centered). on the slide. I noticed that some of the reviewers had blank slides and we didn't. The slides are thin and glassy so young children may need assistance but they are easy to use and easy to get out of their nests and back in very good home gear and a great way to open childrens minds to a world that you can't see
