After doing a lot of research and talking to other Evo owners on the forums I decided that for the price I would jump on this K&N shot. I couldn't be happier with the product for a number of reasons. You hear the turbo coil as well as a whiff that gets a lot of looks and comments from the audience. I also noticed a slight increase in power and noticeably less lag behind the turbo. I'd say I feel a boost 400rpm earlier than with the stock. For the installation, take 2 hours to do it yourself. The actual installation is a breeze, it is difficult to remove the storage system. If you are not very experienced or have limited tools, please seek help. I work at a car dealership and I have access to all the tools and I thank God for that. Some screws and bolts are very difficult to reach with standard tools and very difficult to loosen, especially when the cars have been driven, as these parts are prone to seizing. Either way, the product is top notch, everything you want and incredible value for money. Full turbo noise and performance, crisp optics and relatively easy installation. In addition, you also get UICP. Shipping was incredibly fast and arrived in perfect condition, well packaged to keep the pieces from rattling. Don't hesitate, just buy!
