When I ordered these I received them so I could watch the ships entering the canal and get better photos of them - I had no idea they were going to give me great photos of a historical event! First let me say they are so wonderful! They're a good weight so I don't drop them, plus a great carry case and neck strap. They're easy to use and adjust for clarity, but my favorite is the adapter that attaches to the lens and holds your phone! I didn't know such a thing existed until I stumbled across them while looking for binoculars! They arrived just in time for me to take them to President Bush's train with his coffin and I am so happy with the photos! The first shot was taken from a distance of 1/2 mile - you can zoom out so the circle isn't in the picture but I loved the effect - and the second shot was taken from a distance of 1 mile! It was a rainy day with no sun, but the quality is exceptional! When the sun comes out I will post more photos of the beach but I am so excited about these photos that I will be buying them for all my sons birthdays this year. This is one of my favorite Revain purchases this year and I'm buying LOTS of stuff!
