Today is December 23rd and my husband put it together early to make sure it would work well and be ready to go by Christmas morning. Well it doesn't work properly. It's very difficult for the car (which came with the kit) to get enough speed/fun to drive on the track. Most of the time he doesn't take off completely, and he just scatters in different directions and falls out of the air. We got straight from the battery pack. Also bought additional cars designed for this set. They don't work either. Now I pack my things, come back and try to find something else. Defective scrap. DO NOT BUY.
