Bought these to install on some of the sink faucets in my house to reduce water flow and save water everywhere. You won't believe how some people turn on the tap to wash their hands for 10 seconds. All that water could fill a half-gallon bucket or more! I travel a lot, some to third world countries where water is treated like gold and people are taught to save. I just feel like we're lucky here in the US that there's so much water coming out everywhere and every time we turn on the faucet. I just didn't want the unwanted water to go to waste. So now every time someone washes their hands, less water runs out of every sink faucet in my house. It just takes longer to fill a jug of water, for example, but the gallons I've now saved are worth it.
