They are a bit noisy - faucet parts

Of the 6 I've bought so far only 1 is installed. My comment is similar to another I read before purchasing. they are a bit noisy. Of course when I read this from someone else my first thought was, these can't be much louder than the ones I have. My guess is they're just pulling air into the water stream because they're definitely louder. I'm just trying to decide if it bothers me too much before installing the rest.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Can't remember

Good but noisiest faucet parts

I bought these to replace 2.2 GPM aerators as I found the pressure on the old ones to be "overwhelming". That's a good amount of pressure. The current is still sufficient, but not enough to splash everywhere. The water comes out smooth and they don't leak from the top or anything like that. I had to use the larger of the two washers that came with it. My only complaint is that they are noisier than my previous aerators. Not sure if this is normal for lower flow aerators or not.

Centrifugal nozzle, side jet

Made in Taiwanese garbage. I was excited to put in a new faucet aerator to get rid of my chrome that is wearing out and calcium build up. I placed this item on the faucet, pressed firmly and tested. Water lands and splashes everywhere instead of in a nicely controlled flow. I found an American Standard aerator and will try it in stainless steel. It's a waste of effort, the only good thing about it is the easy withdrawal.

Cheap junk faucet replacement parts

Had some trouble fitting and the parts came loose on the wrong side. This thing is made out of about 7 cheap junk parts, and once it's out of place in the metal case, no mere mortal can put it back in. After removing all the parts to put it back together, you're left with a crappy construction made of cheap plastic parts and a free-floating wire mesh that's not tied to anything. I've tried reinstalling the pieces one by one, but it doesn't work. I've tried putting them all together to glue them

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Severely restricts water flow, may need to be modified.

My old ones are totally rotted inside and parts have fallen out. They fitted like a charm, but when the water was turned on the pressure dropped by about half. It took longer to rinse out the toothbrush and do something else. My mom even said she thought it was clogged and needed replacing. I took it apart and found that the water should flow through the strainer, then through this small hole to conserve water, then through an element that disperses the water, and then through another strainer.

  • Pleasant to use

Eco-friendly way to save some water

Bought these to install on some of the sink faucets in my house to reduce water flow and save water everywhere. You won't believe how some people turn on the tap to wash their hands for 10 seconds. All that water could fill a half-gallon bucket or more! I travel a lot, some to third world countries where water is treated like gold and people are taught to save. I just feel like we're lucky here in the US that there's so much water coming out everywhere and every time we turn on the faucet. I…

Easy to install, works wonders but according to LOUD

First off, I can't believe I've never changed my aerators. With a quick twist of the wrench, they pop out instantly. My old aerator sprayed water sideways. I finally got around to ordering the first item I saw on Amazon. Now compare it to my other faucet in my double vanity, running water with an old aerator - this AM brand is much louder. As they were so cheap I'm not sending them back but the louder noise bothers me so much I'll try the others on Revain. If you've never changed your aerator…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
