Review on 14 15 YAMAHA Bolt RS Vance Intake by Tyler Owens

I didn't like the standard air intake on my bolt. It stuck out too far and was really restrictive, sucking hot air between the cylinders. Installation was very easy, took about 10 minutes. It really exposes the side of the engine and looks better. It also makes it less uncomfortable to sit on the bike and reach for the controls. Setting it up should keep it from leaning out and maybe adding a few extra horses, but I don't think it's a crazy win. I recommend buying if you don't like the default configuration or you just want a more customized look. This is the cheapest on the market. I wish there was a cover, but that doesn't matter. To update. I removed my bolt with the intake manifold installed. The first thing I noticed was the amount of air it sucks in, it's quite noisy. I immediately noticed that it changed the sound of my exhaust, it got a little louder and more "Harley". I wanted to change the exhaust, but I'm not sure if I'll do it now. There is noticeable acceleration without getting the bike going with the air intake on. I'll probably tweak it to see how much it can get. I really like the look of the open filter but I will be carrying a rain cover.
