It's been a tough year. Aside from the national and international stress we all went through, a lot has happened to me and my family. This tea set came in handy. BOX The box it comes in has no hinges or locks. It folds easily, but you can also use it as a tray if you want to put everything on the table. This is bamboo. Each piece has a cushion to keep it safe. INSTRUCTIONS Instructions are ok with that. It really allows you to fully immerse yourself in ceremonial swing matcha. It is very well constructed and the instructions are well done. Lots of pictures make it fun to read. BOWL The Bowl is a beautiful ceramic bowl. One member of the family is a potter and I have to say this is a very nice handmade bowl. The glaze is calm and of a beautiful color STAND The stand suits the bowl and in turn good ceramic work. replaced every few months depending on use. When you use it, wash it in warm water without soap and put it on a stand to keep its shape. When dry, store it on the holder that comes with the kit. I suggest watching a few videos on the best way to use the Chasen whisk. MATCHA POWDER I have to say that this is an excellent quality matcha. Tea alone sells for at least 1/3 the price of this entire set. The quality is excellent, the color is light green, as it should be. I've had one of the best organic matcha from Japan and it's just as good. EFFICIENCY? The process of drinking matcha ceremonially with this set is so tranquil. I turn on quiet music and go somewhere quiet for a while with this set. I really like it. The bowl is very beautiful and large, and the tea process becomes really calm. CONCLUSION As a gift for yourself or someone who needs rest, this is a really nice set. I wish the top of the box had hinges and a lock, but I taped it over it to keep it from closing. MY RATES ARE FIVE STARS. High quality matcha and a great kit make this one of my favorite products to try this year.
