I have used other magnetic phone mounts before and this phone mount is better than this one. I wasn't able to get the bar mount to work with my particular vehicle, but I was able to use the air vent mount with my 2016 f150 and my phone is in the perfect spot. I have window treatments as well as a leather dashboard. and I didn't want to glue anything to either of those surfaces. I was impressed that it had a vent mount so I didn't purchase this product for that reason but did use a vent clip. It's great for navigating with GPS or opening a music player. I really like how the vent mount clips around the vent so it can't be accidentally knocked off. When dressed and with the mobile phone in the holder, everything sits very reliably and does not wobble. I love how the bottom support of the phone holder can be adjusted to any height I want as I have it over one of my air vents. There is also a notch so you can charge your phone while in the holder. A good product.
