We bought these because I can't judge the distance between the front of my car and the garage door. I'm always afraid of bumping into the door, so I never drive far enough into the driveway. My husband positioned these blocks so that when I bump into them I know I've gone far enough. We didn't pack them. They're heavy enough not to move when I hit them. Of course, if I was driving fast, I would move, but I wouldn't move when I parked. For us it was a good buy.
